In honor of the 46th annual National Small Business Week, Louisiana Economic Development joins the Louisiana Small Business Development Center Network, the U.S. Small Business Administration and participating universities to offer workshops across the state to address issues facing small business owners.

Events will focus on small business topics, such as starting and financing a small business, changes in employee workplace regulations and marketing. Events are scheduled during the week of May 17, and will be held in Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Jonesville, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Metairie, Monroe, Natchitoches, Ruston, Shreveport, Walker and Zachary.
